The doctoral degree in Child Studies are relevant for career development purposes in accordance with Article 54 of the Decree-Law No. 75/2010 of June 23 (Regulations governing the Early Childhood and Elementary and Secondary Education Teaching Career). The Ph.D. course in Child Studies, in its different areas of specialization, is recognized for purposes of counting time for career progression under Administrative Rule No. 344/2008, of April 30, according to the updated table, available on the DGAE website.
